Attention all new moms and moms-to-be!

Come join the Clark County Health Department for a community baby shower on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The Shower is being held at the Clarksville Community Center located at 2311 Sam Gwin Drive in Clarksville.  We will have giveaways, car seat checks, community resources, and more. Sanitary Code

1) The purpose of the Clark County Sanitary Code is to establish minimum sanitary standards for the protection, promotion, and improvement of public health, safety and welfare, and for the control of disease, which are consistent with the laws of the State of Indiana, regulations of any superior governmental administrative department or agency of the United States or the State of Indiana or any department or agency comprised of any combination thereof; and,

2) To maintain a sanitary environment; and,

3) To establish the procedure whereby the Clark County Board of Health can effectively and properly perform the duties required of it pursuant to the Public Health Code of Indiana, Acts 1949, CH. 158, I.C. 16-1-1, et.al, through I.C. 16-1-35, et-al.

Would YOU know what to do in case of a traumatic bleeding event?

Receive proper training so you can be an “immediate responder” to help someone who is experiencing traumatic bleeding. Be ready to save the life of a family member, a friend, a colleague or a perfect stranger.*

Following Stop the Bleed, you will be trained on Narcan administration and use. Narcan can be provided at no cost after the training.

In less than 2 hours, you can be prepared to save someone’s life.

The Indiana Department of Health has released the newest food Code, 410, IAC 7-26. It is set to go into effect on April 16th, 2025. There will be a phased enforcement period and education through the end of the year. More information will be released on our social media pages and via email to the contacts that we have on file.
